  • Enhancement of research activities in the various
    components of the enabling technology through
    better understanding of the computationally
    demanding science and engineering applications,
  • Development of more sophisticated models and more
    effective problem solving strategies in various
    science and engineering applications through
    better understanding of the enabling information
    technology.

    Engineering.

Workshops in 2002-03 AY
  • CRI plans to hold three 2-day workshops
  • the first two will be focused on the
    computational challenges in Biology, and
    Nanotechnology,
  • the third workshop will be focused on recent
    advances in parallel numerical algorithms,
    parallel architectures, compilers, and
    performance evaluation.
