Aims of the ASPIRE Project
  • To re-engage young people in learning through new
    system designs
  • its not what the box looks like thats important
    but what goes on inside the box.

    healthy and fulfilling lives.

Applied Learning Take Up
  • There are now over 80 of pupils in each year of
    KS4 with Applied Learning in their chosen
    learning programme(Including Y9 from the Y8
    Options Programme)

Enhanced Support for Learners
  • Remove registration- use lesson registration
  • End day with Period 6 for most Period 7 for some
    learning programmes
  • Whole school support programme Y7-11
  • Change Period 5 to a Coaching Period of 25
    minutes with a further 35 minutes for lunch,
    split across Key Stages
  • Each year has 12 Coaching Groups rather than the
    10 previous Tutor Groups

    pupils needs at that point-Non-teaching
