Examples 1 Corinthians 111 Imitate me, just as I
also imitate Christ. 2 Now I praise you,
brethren, that you remember me in all things and
keep the traditions just as I delivered them to
you. Philippians 317 Brethren, join in
following my example, and note those who so walk,
as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk,
of whom I have told you often, and now tell you
even weeping, that they are the enemies of the
cross of Christ 19 whose end is destruction,
whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in
their shame -- who set their mind on earthly
things.

Hebrews 137 Remember those who rule over you,
who have spoken the word of God to you, whose
faith follow, considering the outcome of their
conduct. 1 Timothy 412 Let no one despise your
youth, but be an example to the believers in
word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith,
in purity. Who should be your example?

1 Peter 221 For to this you were called, because
Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that you should follow His steps 22
"Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in
His mouth" 23 who, when He was reviled, did not
revile in return when He suffered, He did not
threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges
righteously 24 who Himself bore our sins in His

Philippians 21 Therefore if there is any
consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if
any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection
and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being
like-minded, having the same love, being of one
accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done
through selfish ambition or conceit, but in
lowliness of mind let each esteem others better
than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not
only for his own interests, but also for the

which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in
the form of God, did not consider it robbery to
be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no
reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and

He humbled Himself and became obedient to the
point of death, even the death of the cross. 9
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and
given Him the name which is above every name, 10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of
those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father. 12 Therefore, my
beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and
trembling 13 for it is God who works in you
both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Ephesians 51 Therefore be imitators of God as
dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ
also has loved us and given Himself for us, an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a
sweet-smelling aroma. John 1517 "These things
I command you, that you love one another. John
1335 "By this all will know that you are My
disciples, if you have love for one another. 1
Corinthians 106 Now these things became our
examples, to the intent that we should not lust
after evil things as they also lusted.

1 Corinthians 46 Now these things, brethren, I
have figuratively transferred to myself and
Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us
not to think beyond what is written, that none of
you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the
other.

Philippians 38 Yet indeed I also count all
things loss for the excellence of the knowledge
of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered
the loss of all things, and count them as
rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found
in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is
from the law, but that which is through faith in
Christ, the righteousness which is from God by

His resurrection, and the fellowship of His
sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if,

to have apprehended but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and

upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Therefore
let us, as many as are mature, have this mind

Hebrews 611 And we desire that each one of you
show the same diligence to the full assurance of
hope until the end, 12 that you do not become
sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and
patience inherit the promises. Who are you an
example to?

1 Thessalonians 16 And you became followers of
us and of the Lord, having received the word in
much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, 7
so that you became examples to all in Macedonia
and Achaia who believe. 8 For from you the word
of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in
Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place.
Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do
not need to say anything. 1 Timothy 412 Let no
one despise your youth, but be an example to the
believers in word, in conduct, in love, in
spirit, in faith, in purity.

Matthew 186 " But whoever causes one of these
little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be
better for him if a millstone were hung around
his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the
sea. 1 Peter 31 Wives, likewise, be submissive
to your own husbands, that even if some do not
obey the word, they, without a word, may be won
by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they
observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your
good works which they observe, glorify God in the

yourselves to every ordinance of man for the
Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14
or to governors, as to those who are sent by him
for the punishment of evildoers and for the
praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the
will of God, that by doing good you may put to
silence the ignorance of foolish men --
