- The HCNA team of the EPICS program at Purdue
works with the Historic Centennial Neighborhood
of Lafayette to attract new homebuyers to the
area, for whom high heating costs still remain a
primary deterrent and to inform current
homeowners about energy efficiency issues present
in their homes. - Mission
- To revitalize, solve heating problems, and
improve the energy efficiency in 19th Century
Homes.

- H.O.M.E.E. HCNAs Open Model for Energy
Efficiency - Web model accessible to the public but intended
for the HCN homeowners and potential homebuyers - Goals
- To serve as an aid to update the efficiency of
these homes, making the neighborhood a more
affordable and attractive place to live - To persuade more homebuyers to invest in the
homes in the HCN by providing a centralized place
to gather the necessary information to make
appropriate and essential renovations
