Kathy Bizarro Visit to HMC
  • I was able to spend 4 days with the wonderful
    people of Hancock Medical Center (Feb. 10-13,
    2006).
  • They are working very hard to get HMC back up and
    running as a fully functional hospital.
  • They are currently operating 25 beds as a
    Critical Access Hospital (down from 104 beds
    before the hurricane).
  • They are starting to do surgeries and are
    accepting obstetrics patients and emergency
    department patients.
