dolphins, your stress level is within the
acceptable range. If you see anything other than
two dolphins, your stress level is too high and
you need to stay and listen to the sermon.

Acts Ch27
14 Before very long, a wind of hurricane force,
called the "northeaster," swept down from the
island. 15 The ship was caught by the storm and
could not head into the wind so we gave way to
it and were driven along.

Acts Ch27
1. Get rid of the cargo you dont need.
18 We took such a violent battering from the
storm that the next day they began to throw the
cargo overboard. 19 On the third day, they threw
the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands.

Acts Ch27

  • Earning more money.

Acts Ch27
1. Get rid of the cargo you dont need.
Marriage should be honored by all, and the
marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the
adulterer and all the sexually immoral. 5 Keep
your lives free from the love of money and be
content with what you have, because God has
said, "Never will I leave you never will I
forsake you." HEB 134-5

Acts Ch27
1. Get rid of the cargo you dont need.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7
For we brought nothing into the world, and we can
take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and
clothing, we will be content with that. 9People
who want to get rich fall into temptation and a
trap and into many foolish and harmful desires
that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For
the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
Some people, eager for money, have wandered from
the faith and pierced themselves with many
griefs. 1Tim 66

2. Get busy with things that really matter.
22 But now I urge you to keep up your courage,
because not one of you will be lost only the
ship will be destroyed. 23 Last night an angel of
the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside
me 24 and said, Do not be afraid, Paul. You must
stand trial before Caesar and God has graciously
given you the lives of all who sail with you.'
16
Acts Ch27
2. Get busy with things that really matter.
the ship doesnt matter, only people do!
So busy doing things - I dont have time for
people
We need to take responsibility for our own lives.
17
Acts Ch27
3. Recognise your dependence on God
20 When neither sun nor stars appeared for many
days and the storm continued raging, we finally
gave up all hope of being saved.
29 Fearing that we would be dashed against the
rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern
and prayed for daylight. 30 In an attempt to
escape from the ship, the sailors let the
lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were
going to lower some anchors from the bow.
18
Acts Ch27
3. Recognise your dependence on God
We can panic instead of praying
You will never know Jesus is all you need until
Jesus is all youve got.
19
Acts Ch27
3. Recognise your dependence on God
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in
everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And
the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus. PHP 46-7

consolation brought joy to my soul. PS 9419

the last fourteen days," he said, "you have been
in constant suspense and have gone without
food--you haven't eaten anything. 34 Now I urge
you to take some food. You need it to survive.
