  • 30 books
  • normal loans 1 week
  • short loans 2 days
  • Library will email you a reminder the day before
    the due date
  • You can renew books over the library catalogue
    OLIS up to 7 times unless
  • reserved by another reader
  • overdue
  • Books with library use only stickers can not be
    borrowed reference only

  • Available throughout the Library
  • Fill in title, shelfmark, date seat number when
    using a reference copy of a book
  • Enables readers to find reading list texts in use

  • 3 rooms for graduate use only
  • 2 discussion rooms
  • 10 individual study carrels
  • 54 networked PCs

Laptops
  • Wireless is available throughout the Library,
    connect to the OULS-reader network, open a web
    browser, and log-in with your OLIS barcode and
    password.
  • You need to register your laptop if you wish to
    connect to the network via Ethernet. Forms are
    available from the Issue Desk. Ethernet cables
    can be borrowed from the Desk
  • The partitioned seating outside the central
    graduate room is a quiet area no laptops

  • Buy a rechargeable card from issue desk for 1.00
  • 7p per page
  • Can be used in many Oxford libraries

  • Portal to our electronic resources
  • journal indexing and abstracting services,
    electronic reference works, e-journal packages,
    e-book collections, etc.
  • Allows resources to be searched for by title,
    subject or keyword
  • Also allows cross-searching of selected databases
    to find articles or other individual resources
  • Enables easy remote access to most resources
    through signing-in using Oxford SSO.
