LET Kunovice - company after bancrupcy process
bought by 1) PAMCO (L410 production and
sales) 2) EVEKTOR (Serial production of EV 55 and
Cobra VUT100) 3) JOB AIR (MRO - Maintenance,
Repairs and Overhauls) AERO Vodochody -
Government decided to privatize the company. A
new owner will be known in the first quarter of
2006.

Offset News
GRIPEN (BAE/SAAB) - announced the achievement in
the offset contract is 4.5 mld. CZK (total
offset is 25 mld. CZK) EUROCOPTER -
achievement is 450 mil. CZK (total offset is 1.2
mld. CZK) Unfortunately most offset projects
are performed outside aviation industry! ALV CR
strongly encourages to place offset projects
within aeronautics!

CESAR - Cost-Effective Small AiRcrafta unique
opportunity to increase European competitiveness
in production of small commercial aircraft
Proposal for Integrated Project

• CESAR focuses on small-size commercial aircraft
  providing manufacturers with an enhanced ability
  needed to become fully competitive in the world
  market. The objective is to build up a new
  development concept for this aircraft category
  and to improve selected technologies enabling a
  significant reduction of the time-to-market and
  lowering the overall development, operation and
  maintenance costs, while considering safety,
  passenger comfort and environmental impact.
