Project Goal

• Re-introduction of chum salmon into eight Lower
  Columbia Tributaries in Clatsop County

• Gnat Creek
• Big Creek

• Eggs for out-planting are incubated in Mist
  incubation units and thermally marked
• Eggs for captive brood program are moved to full
  bath Heat Trays to buttoned up fry

Mass marked eggs are planted in selected reaches
of streams using Salmon Egg Planting Device and
Method

Fry are held in net pens in three locations for
three/four years until gravid adults
