General STATEMENT

• There are 300 different kinds of sharks.
• SHARKS ARE A TYPE of FISH.
• The most famous shark is called the great white
  shark.
• The biggest shark is called the Whale Shark.

Appearance

• SHARK look like a fish and sharks have
• very big teeth. Sharks have a triangle shaped
  fin on their back.

Habitat

• Sharks live under the sea under and some never go
  to sleep. Some live in corals, some live in open
  water and others live in rivers.

Diet and habits.
Sharks are meat eaters. They can smell blood in
the water from a long way away.

Lifecycle

• There are two main ways in which baby sharks can
  be born. The female shark can lay egg sacs or
  can give birth to live young which have grown
  inside her.
