2Our class did an informational report on an
animal we chose. Our class learned about
different habitats, foods that the animals eat,
any special qualities that they may have, and
their physical characteristics. Some students
learned how the mother cares for their young too.
The students drew pictures of the animals. In
computer lab, the students created a PowerPoint
slide with five facts and chose a picture from
the internet.

- It lives on the plains of the Tibetan Himalayan
Mountains witch are below the snow line and in
other elevated regions of central Asia. - A yaks hear goes up to its feet.
- To protect it self from the bitter cold,the yak
has developed a coat harrier than of any other
animal. - Yaks are about as tall as an average sized man.

- Ponies stand on four legs with hooves and has a
mane and tail. - A pony can eat flaked corn, pony nuts, bran,
coarse mix, chaff, dried sugar beet, salt block,
rolled oats, barley, flaked barley, apples,
carrots, hay, grass, and grain. - A pony can get its food by reaching into the hay
bucket for hay and the owner can give it a snack. - A pony can live in a stable, farm, box stall,
and a pasture. - My dream pony is chestnut colored with a white
star, four white socks and a black mane and tail.

- Rhinos live on open savannah and on the edge of
the forest near bushes and trees. - Rhinos are herbivores and eat plants and fruit.
- Rhinos are born through the back and the calf
lives with its mom for two or three years. - Some rhinos can not see very well .
