Habitat

• Found in North America and South America
• Near water
• food and shelter available

Shelter

• Mainly brush land, forest area, and water
• Makes home in abandoned Woodchuck burrows, cave,
  barn, sewers, and house

Diet

• It eats Buds, Small animals, fish, shellfish,
  fruits, nuts and seeds
• If near ocean it will eat clams and good tasty
  treats like garbage
• Gets crayfish with hands
• Eats frogs, field mice, turtles, tadpoles, garden
  snakes, snails, nuts, berries, seeds, acorns,
  insects, honey combs and chicken eggs
• Young drinks mothers milk

• Wide band of black fur across eyes and down
  cheeks
• Ringed tail
• If snow heavily they will sleep but not hibernate
