• Maturity 80 feet tall and 100 feet wide
• Soil rich, deep, moist, well-drained, acidic

• Soil any type, as long as permanently wet

• The distribution of each of these species of
  trees correlates to the climatic conditions in
  the regions where it is found
• Although each tree species seems to have the
  ability to grow in a variety of conditions, it is
  obvious through the research that there are
  certain conditions under which it has optimal
  growth
