  • Movie trailers are commonly referred to as a
    preview of coming attractions
  • They usually consist of selected shots from the
    film that is being advertised

8
Whats in a trailer?
  • Movie Rating
  • Before the trailer begins there is usually a
general rating for the trailer, most trailers are
able to be viewed by all audiences
  • Logo
  • The logo of the studio that created the film is
    shown
  • Voice Over Narration
  • This is sometimes used to start the trailer
  • Music
  • This normally helps set the tone for the movie.
Just because the music is used in the trailer,
does not mean it will be apart of the movies
    soundtrack.
  • Cast Run
  • This is just a list of the actors that appear in
    the movie
  • The cast run is sometimes seen during the
trailer, or at the very end of the trailer on a
screen along with other people who were apart of
    creating the movie.
  • Scenes
  • This is just a sneak peak of the movie, not the
whole movie. They reveal some parts of the
    movie, but not all.
