What Kids in Hungary Do
  • Kids in Hungary enjoy swimming, bicycling,
    fishing, horseback riding and playing soccer.
  • Kids in Hungary go to church every Sunday. Girls
    go with their mother to her church and boys go
    with their fathers to his church.

    They shop at outdoor markets and attend cultural
    events in the parks. Sometimes they like to put
    on the old hand embroidered traditional costumes

Hungarian Culture
  • Families celebrate a Name Day. This is a day set
    aside for a persons name and a small gift is
    given.
  • On December 6 they celebrate St. Nicholas Day
    when children put out their boots to find candy,
    fruits and toys in them the next morning.
  • On the last Sunday in May it is Childrens Day
    when parents take their children to parks, zoos
    or some other fun outing.
