• Simon opened his mouth to speak but Ralph had
  the conch and he backed to his seat.
• Kept his loyalty to Ralph.

• Simon felt a perilous necessity to speak but to
  speak in assembly was a terrible thing to him.

• Always tries to please everyone.

Fate

• Hes epileptic and is the one who dramatically
  faints as he arrives on the island.
• Volunteers to check out the island showing no
  fear.
• He hallucinates and starts talking to the pigs
  head (lord of the flies)
• He tries to tell the beast is a human but the
  boys mistake Simon for the beast and kill him.
• He ends up being one of the first to die on the
  island due to the boys turning in to savages.
