If The Foundations Are Destroyed,WHAT Shall The
Righteous Do?

• Psalms 111-7 (NKJV) 1 In the Lord I put my
  trust How can you say to my soul, Flee as a
  bird to your mountain? 2 For look! The wicked
  bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on
  the string, That they may shoot secretly at the
  upright in heart. 3 If the foundations are
  destroyed What can the righteous do? 4 The Lord
  is in His holy temple, The Lords throne is in
  heaven His eyes behold, His eyelids test the
  sons of men. 5 The Lord tests the righteous, But
  the wicked and the one who loves violence His
  soul hates. 6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals
  Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be
  the portion of their cup. 7 For the Lord is
  righteous, He loves righteousness His
  countenance beholds the upright.

The Foundations

• There are FOUR foundations that GOD has laid that
  are VITAL for mans life on earth and for
  eternity.
• The Home
• Society
• Civil Government
• The Church
• Let us look at the evidence of these foundations
  being destroyed and then address the question
  WHAT Can the Righteous Do?

The Home

• The FAILURE of each family member in fulfilling
  their GOD GIVEN role and responsibility
• The husband/father as the Head of the family.
• Eph. 523 (NKJV) For the husband is head of the
  wife, as also Christ is head of the church and
  He is the Savior of the body.
• As an Instructor and Spiritual leader for his
  children.
• Eph. 64 (NKJV) And you, fathers, do not provoke
  your children to wrath, but bring them up in the
  training and admonition of the Lord.

• As an EXAMPLE for his family in Influence
• 1 Tim.34-5 (NKJV) one who rules his own house
  well, having his children in submission with all
  reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to
  rule his own house, how will he take care of the
  church of God?)
• In MANY homes, the role of the father and husband
  has been SURRENDERED!
• The wife is to be IN SUBJECTION
• Eph. 524 (NKJV) Therefore, just as the church is
  subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their
  own husbands in everything.

• She is to be a home-maker and INSTRUCTOR of the
  children.
• 1 Tim.514 (NKJV) Therefore I desire that the
  younger widows marry, bear children, manage the
  house, give no opportunity to the adversary to
  speak reproachfully.
• Tit. 24-5 (NKJV) that they admonish the young
  women to love their husbands, to love their
  children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers,
  good, obedient to their own husbands, that the
  word of God may not be blasphemed.

  wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
  She watches over the ways of her household, And
  does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children
  rise up and call her blessed

Children As STUDENTS Of Their Parents

• Prov. 21-9 (NKJV) My son, if you receive my
  words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So
  that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply
  your heart to understanding 3 Yes, if you cry
  out for discernment, And lift up your voice for
  understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And
  search for her as for hidden treasures 5 Then
  you will understand the fear of the Lord, And
  find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives
  wisdom From His mouth come knowledge and
  understanding.

Evidence Of Destruction

• Dominating wives WEAK MEN!
• Young people rejecting the guidance of parents
  and sometimes in a PHYSICAL way.
• QUESTION WHY do these things happen?
• Because there has been a BREAKDOWN in the HOME in
  WORD and EXAMPLE!
• Artificial insemination provides women with an
  alternative for a husband
• What is the SIGNIFICANCE of this?
• An attempt to CIRCUMVENT GODS ARRANGEMENT FOR
  THE HOME!

• From the BEGINNING of mans existence he has been
  given a SOCIETY to live in. The QUALITY of that
  society depends upon whether or not man in
  WILLING to be GOVERNED by GODS standard FOR that
  society
• Gen. 221-24 (NKJV) And the Lord God caused a
  deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept and He
  took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in
  its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had
  taken from man He made into a woman, and He
  brought her to the man.

• GODS Standard for society is MARRIAGE and THAT
  of MAN to WOMAN!
• His Standard is ONE man for ONE woman for LIFE
  with ONE exception!
• Matt. 199 (NKJV) And I say to you, whoever
  divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality,
  and marries another, commits adultery and
  whoever marries her who is divorced commits
  adultery.
• Over 50 of all marriages end in divorce today.

The Foundation For SOCIETY Has Crumbled

• Homosexuality and Lesbianism is not only common
  but lawful.
• Same sex marriages
• Sodomy has become lawful in many states.
• GOD HAS SPOKEN but do any CARE?
• Lev.1822 (NKJV) You shall not lie with a male as
  with a woman. It is an abomination.
• Lev.2013 (NKJV) If a man lies with a male as he
  lies with a woman, both of them have committed an
  abomination. They shall surely be put to death.
  Their blood shall be upon them.

  will result.
• We see the FOUNDATION of Society destroyed in the

• In our society today there are NO ABSOLUTES
  except there are NO ABSOLUTES!
• From 60 to 80 of young teenage girls have sex
  before marriage
• Schools are many times having classes to advise
  on ways against getting pregnant

• A nation where VIOLENCE, FORNICATION, RAPE,
  MURDER and UNGODLINESS of EVERY kind is the
  ACCEPTED NORM!
• A society where punishment is often a slap on
  the hand and criminals continue on.
• Eccl. 811 (NKJV) Because the sentence against an
  evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the
  heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to
  do evil.
• Home invasions and drive by shootings are common

• The Foundation of civil government has crumbled
  by allowing Immorality of every kind.

• There IS a foundation that stands SURE!
• 2 Tim.219 (NKJV) Nevertheless the solid
  foundation of God stands, having this seal The
  Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone
  who names the name of Christ depart from
  iniquity.
