Purpose
  • Prevent workplace violence and maintain safe work
    environment for faculty, staff, and students
  • The University will not tolerate any type of
    workplace violence committed by or against
    employees

Prohibited Conduct
  • While not inclusive, examples of prohibited
    conduct includes
  • Causing physical injury to another person
  • Making threatening remarks

Prohibited Conduct cond
  • Aggressive or hostile behavior that creates a
    reasonable fear of injury to another person or
    subjects another individual to emotional distress
  • Intentionally damaging University property or
    property of another employee or student

Prohibited Conduct cond
  • Possession of firearms, weapons, fireworks, and
    other dangerous or hazardous devices or
    substances
  • Conduct that intimidates, or coerces another
    employee, customer, student, vendor

Reporting Information
  • Reported to the immediate supervisor and Campus
    Security

Reporting Information cond
  • When reporting information, be as specific and
    detailed as possible
  • Reports can be made anonymously and all reported
    incidents will be investigated
