Before the Interview
  • Know the exact place/time of the interviewnever
    be late.
  • Know the interviewers name if possible.
  • Learn important facts about the company - line of
    business, age of company, etc.
  • Know what questions to ask.
  • Plan the proper attire to wear.
  • Take a resume with you.

During the Interview
  • Do not chew gum/smoke.
  • Greet the interviewer by last namewith an
    enthusiastic smile/firm handshake.
  • Look the interviewer in the eye while
    speakingspeak fluently.
  • Make sure your good points come across.
  • Dont always answer with a yes or no. Add
    explanations with answers if needed.
  • Dont inquire about pay at the initial interview
    unless the interviewer introduces the subject.
  • Be honestAnswer questions truthfully.

  • State your strengths/weaknesses.
  • Describe your recent job performance.
  • Give insight regarding your work experiences.

    position bring?

Factors For A Failed Interview
  • Personal appearance not acceptable.
  • No positive purpose.
  • Lack of interest/enthusiasm, confidence,
    maturity, courtesy.
  • Overemphasis on compensation.
  • Condemnation of past employers.
  • Failure to answer questions or to ask questions.
