INTRODUCTION ABOUT IWTMA
Set up 11 years ago as a registered society
under the Societies Registration Act IWTMA is
the only Body representing the Wind Turbine
Manufacturers in the country. Other Associations
represent the investors/developers Member of
Global Wind Energy Council ( GWEC) and EWEA
Associated with industrial bodies, namely,
FICCI, ASSOCHAM and CII. IWTMA has
close co operation with ECN/RISO/EWEA on
European India Wind Energy Network (EIWEN).
Has its representation on all
Committees/Councils/Advisory groups constituted
by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE),
CWET and others including Financial institutions
like IREDA.
