communications group Pearson plc, to offer this
new degree from September 2001.

requiring all students to reside in the town of
Cambridge, England. Last year that rule was
revoked. The 800 year-old rulebook had to be
altered to make way for the universitys first
Internet-enabled program, the global e-MBA.
