Pispa school
The History of Pispa school In the 1912
Pirkkalas local council announced. that the
heirs of farmer Uuho Pispa had donated land for a
school. Two years later Pirkkalas local council
agreed to use Heikki Tiitolas drawings for a
school. The school had two classrooms and
needlework room. The first pupils came to the
school on the 20th of August 1915.

The school was called Pirkkalan kunnan
Ylä-Pispalan kansakoulu (Pirkkala Towns
Upper-Pispala Primary School). The school had
about 200 pupils and four teachers. Nearly every
year building and organizing work was carried
out, so the students could fit into the
school. The school was at its biggest from
1936-1937, when it had approximately 762
students. It was given current name Pispa School
in1937.

Nowadays The schools current form dates from the
1940s. The building has classrooms and a
gymnasium. On the third floor there is a music
room and a needlework room.
