Take Green Seriously Green Government UK Climate
Change Act 2008 Legally binding targets Green

the UK and abroad of at least 80 by 2050, and
reductions in CO2 emissions of at least 26 by
2020, against a 1990 baseline. A carbon

a range of communications opportunities and Green
delivery of learning including e-delivery. It is
about making informed choices, what we deliver
and how we deliver.

A Green HRD culture could be developed within
organisations, including sustainable people
development practices including local and
internal talent management.

Green HRD Standards HRD might reflect the
commitments of the wider Organic Movement. Can we
apply the four overarching principles of health,
ecology, fairness and care?
