  encounter pesticides and their subsequent health
  risks than adults

Purpose of the Program

• To reduce pesticide use in schools and homes by
  educating children
• about the role insects in the environment and the
  importance of
• Biological Diversity

• The role of insects within ecosystems
• The importance of Biodiversity
• The difference between beneficial or harmless
  insects and those that are pests
• How to control pest insects in a safe and
  non-toxic way
