Policy Recommendations

• Overall, our findings supported the work of the
  community development organization/CDC
• Continue rehabilitation efforts housing
  conditions definitely shape individuals
  perception of their neighborhoods
• Continue to encourage homeownership homeowners
  are more satisfied with their housing than
  renters
• Work with local police to improve surveillance in
  the neighborhood (community policing or cop on
  the beat approach and resident watch group)
