• Do you find matching questions to be the easiest
  or trickiest part of test? Why?

  matching questions.

• Ask if there is a penalty for incorrect
  answers?

Marking the Answers

• Read directions carefully. Are you supposed to
  match the items or the numbers? Dont lose
  points!!

Read

• Read all items in both columns FIRST. Then you
  can select the best choice.

Hold Challenges

• Always match the items you know first. Hold the
  challenges for later.

Cross it Out

• Cross out answers you have already used.

Narrow down the choices

• If you can narrow down the choices to a few
  possibilities indicate them. Then go with your
  first hunch.

More then one choice

• Sometimes more then one choice will match an
  item. Read all answers and go with the best one.

See how many choices

• In some matching all the choices in a column may
  not be used. Be aware of that fact.

Check part of speech

• When matching synonyms always check part of
  speech. Noun usually matches noun. Verb usually
  matches verb.
