WGISS-WGCV Core Test Sites
  • In 2007 ESA plan to continue development of WTF
    to provide seamless continuation of the data
    services covering sensor calibration datasets
  • USGS does not have fund to support the
    maintenance of the portal ? becoming static.
  • USGS ESA to discuss for future plan
  • GEO Sec is interested in having cal/val portal
    registered in the component and service registry

WTF CEOP
  • Overall status were given
  • JAXA
  • Adding new Web Map layers and producing a
    prototype for Water Resource Management
  • The overview of the CEOP and the prototype of the
    Global water cycle were presented
  • Possible collaboration with GRID TT
  • NASA
  • OPeNDAP interface will be added to the WCS
  • Plan to provide a prototype to the science
    community
  • AI WGISS 23-4 Satoko to inquire about the
    details of the IP3 program to determine if the
    WTF can be of use to this program

Natural Disaster Projects
  • To use of technologies and tools developed by
    WGISS members to support disaster management
  • An overview of ASIAES and sentinel Asia system
    were given
  • May be valuable for DI 06-09
  • A candidate to be registered as a GEO service
    registry

EO Data Portal Task Team
  • To discuss on the integration between the EO data
    portal and IDN
  • At the beginning, ICEDS and IDN will separately
    registered in GEO registry
  • TT status will be discuss in WGISS24
  • Three steps need to be done before closing
  • Updating WGISS website menu
  • Creating a portal in IDN
  • Register ICED in the GEO as a component registry
