    between 2004 and 2005

What is the FDA doing?
  • FDA has increased its efforts to halt drug
counterfeiting and issued a report highlighting
critical elements it hopes will help keep the
U.S. drug supply safe and secure. Based on the
work of the FDA's Counterfeit Drug Task Force,
the report is part of an initiative to include
    manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers,
    pharmacists, consumer groups, and other
stakeholders in the fight against counterfeiters.

17
Questions
  • Do you think the FDA is doing its best to
    alleviate the situation?
  • If not, what can should they do?
  • What should the FDA do to reduce the amount of
counterfeit cases coming from internet sites?
  • Pharmacists have the opportunity to communicate
with the community, how can they inform the
    community of this growing issue?
