The Demand is growing ATM is near its limits!

• The current Air Traffic Management
• is nearing the end of its ability to deliver
  the capacity necessary to accommodate the
  increasing demand.
• Both the underlying operational concept and the
  supporting technologies need major improvements.
  
• The existing airport infrastructure
• cannot fully accommodate the increasing
  demand.
• Whereas the European traffic
• will almost double by 2020, i.e. 18 Million
  IFR flights per year.
