AuPd on poly-C DNA 5 nm wide, 100 nm long.
AuPd on poly-C DNA 5 nm wide, 100 nm long.
Future Work
  • Begin electrical measurements of variety of
samples, particularly those coated with MoGe, a
    superconducting alloy. Measure conductivity at
various temperatures and ambient magnetic fields.
  • Use anti-clumping agents to produce single DNA
    wires of greater length.
  • Explore reason for linear form of DNA across
    trenches.
  • Create more complex arrangements of DNA through
self assembly and metallize to form electrical
    constructs.

Pair of wires, 4 nm MoGe on ? DNA, width 10 nm.
This sample is undergoing electrical measurements
(but not yet ready for presentation).
