  collect accurate real line data from production
  floor for line balancing and I/E analysis.
• Solution
• With the launch of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, MSC
  has built a new ERP module RFID WIP Management,
  that combines RFID technology with the powerful
  and reliable transaction-processing capabilities
  of SQL Server 2005 to allow manufacturers to
  better manage Work-In-progress (WIP).
• Manufacturers attach RFID tags (LF) directly to
  the cut pieces or semi-products in the production
  line and install RFID readers at workstations or
  strategic sites on the shop floor to
  automatically log job-completion data.
• Data gathered by the RFID readers is transferred
  to the SQL Server 2005 database for analysis
  and reporting. Users gain real-time
  visibility of the entire production process from
  cutting to packaging.

  upload data every five seconds and the system can
  process as many as 2,000 transactions each time.
  Storing, accessing and processing this volume of
