  • Reintegration Grants (RIG)
  • This Grants allow young scientists from Partner
    countries working in NATO countries abroad to
    return and reintegrate into the research
    communities of their home countries.
  • The size of the grant should is calculated
    according to the home country of the returning
    fellow. The expected average awards for
    Reintegration Grants is in the range of EUR
    20,000 to EUR 25,000.
  • Eligibility criteria for a Reintegration Grant
    are
  • being a scientist of a Partner country, or
    Bulgaria and Romania
  • having received a PhD no more than 5 years ago,
    or currently studying for a PhD
  • being formally accepted for the 3-year period of
    the Reintegration Grant by the Director of the
    Host Institution in the home country.

  • PhD with minimum 2 year postoctoral studies

    project manager and the research team (max 35
    years old)

    intersectorial transfer of knowledge

  • PhD coordinator agreement for undertaking the
    research lab-based activity elsewhere in the
    country
  • project duration max 3 months
  • project financial support 1200-1500 Euros
  • eligible costs travel, mobility, daily
    allowance, accommodation, access to research
    infrastructure

    development in research management, in order to
    raise the participation level in European
    research projects

    researchers
  • creation of management divisions within the
    research institutes
  • specific steps to be followed when financing the

  • list of course providers (competition to be
    launched)
  • submission by the entities applying for research
    management courses (max. 2 applications per
    organization)
  • 1 course 15-30 persons/ max. 48 hours
