Quotes
The unavailability of exact visual references
necessary to a project of this magnitude created
a wide latitude for interpretation
The sculpture which I created . . . pays homage
to the creative genius of Leonardo
It is not intended to be a recreation of his
sculpture. However, it has been significantly
influenced by certain works of art and writings
from that period, and specifically Leonardos
notebooks and accompanying drawings.

Elements of Design
  • This sculpture is very well balanced and the
repetition used is the bronze covering on the
outside rims of the face. Its very well balanced
and very proportional. Its a beautiful and
outstanding sculpture. The color and texture is
    sort of old and bronze.
