Once upon a time there was a prince that was
going to marry a princess. He was very happy
about it.

The princess was very happy too. But her parents
did not believe that the prince was really a
prince.

Since the princesss parents didnt know if the
prince was really a prince they put a marble
under 16 mattresses on his bed to see if he would
feel it.

That night, the prince went to bed but he had
trouble sleeping. Most of the night he wondered
what was so lumpy under him. He thought it might
be just a bump in the mattress but he was not so
sure.

The next morning, the prince tried to find out
what was under his bed. He was so tired that he
just kicked off his 16 mattresses. Under his bed
was a shiny little marble. He was so surprised
that he jumped and hit his head on the ceiling.

He quickly ran to the dining room to tell the
princess parents. He said that he could not
sleep that night because there was something
lumpy under his bed. At that moment they realized
that he was a real prince. So the prince and the
princess got married. And they lived happily ever
after. THE END
