• Since 1978 RGT, in association with NAAMSA, has
  been the sole source and supplier, of new vehicle
  sales data to the South African motor industry.
  RGT is also the exclusive NAAMSA approved
  supplier of new vehicle specification and pricing
  data. In addition RGT provides a range of
  economic data, analysis and consulting support to
  a wide variety of clients across all industries.

• We maintain the most expansive motor industry
  information available ranging from new vehicle
  sales, pricing, specifications, PARC and fuel
  statistics. Our Autostats system is one of the
  most advanced software solutions available to new
  vehicle manufacturers and Importers providing an
  analytical window to national, regional and
  dealer networks throughout South Africa. Our
  AutoMSA (Market Segment Analyser) product is at
  the forefront of international analysis standards
  for motor vehicle product managers. In our
  Autoparc system we provide an intelligent
  assessment of the vehicles on the roads in South
  Africa by model derivative and regional level.
  Our extensive AutoEconomics system combines macro
  economic factors with new vehicle sales and
  pricing statistics to produce graphs compatible
  with Excel and PowerPoint.

Autoparc

• Query the number of vehicles on the road in RSA
  including Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and
  Swaziland. These volumes can be queried by
  numerous vehicle attributes, down to a vehicle
  model derivative and Licensing District.  The RGT
  PARC volumes are based on the vehicle sales by
  model into licensing districts for 25 year
  periods since 1980. Vehicles outside the 25 year
  RGT PARC represent about 0,1 of the total PARC
  volumes. A scrapping factor by year is applied to
  the model and licensing district volumes. The
  national PARC volumes are comparable to the NATIS
  system. The RGT PARC volumes include only
  manufacturers that subscribe to NAAMSA. Hyundai,
  Daihatsu, KIA and some smaller manufacturers are
  excluded and represent about 0,6 of the annual
  PARC volumes.

Dealer Performance Evaluation and Forecasting

• The AutoForecast PDF report is a forecast of the
  NAAMSA markets (Passenger, LCV, MCV, HCV, XHCV
  and BUS) by province and NAAMSA segment. The
  current year's quarters are displayed as
  historical values with a four quarter forecast of
  the next rolling four quarters. A dealer market
  by province forecast is also included. The
  report will be emailed in PDF format on a
  quarterly basis.
• Autoforecast incorporates the AutoDPE system a
  Trend cycle based dealer performance evaluation
  system (AutoDPE) providing essential and highly
  sophisticated analysis in easy to understand
  graphs delivered over the internet together with
