• AV Lip-sync Study PG has been authorized, a
  call for members is announced for the related
  committees of JEITA as follows.
• Digital Home Appliance Committee
• Governance of organization and businesses of
  consumer electronics
• Technical Standardization Center Committees
• This PG will have working groups and start in
  November.

In ARIB

• ARIB (Association of Radio Industries and
  Businesses)
• Studio Equipment Development Section has
  established a relationship with JEITA members on
  synchronization issue

• AES (Audio Engineering Society)
• Technical Committee on Transmission and
  Broadcasting will have the workshop of AV
  synchronization at AES convention in October
• Standard committee, SC-02-02 has a liaison with
  TC100/TA4

What to be considered

• Many organizations have a problem of AV lip-sync
