Color

• Color is the visible spectrum of reflected light,
  which has the attributes of hue, value, and
  intensity

Form

• a principle of organization organization of
  time, space, and energy into a definite shape or
  arrangement
• a shape that is, or appears to be, three
  dimensional, having height, width, and depth

Line
Line can be considered in two ways. The linear
marks made with a pen or brush or the edge
created when two shapes meet.

• A mark left in the path of a moving point.

Shape

• a closed space made when a line connects to
  itself .

Space

• the area around, above, below, and within an
  artwork. Space in an artwork that is filled with
  something, such as lines, designs, color, or
  shapes. negative space - Empty space in an
  artwork, a void.

Texture

• Texture is the surface quality of a shape -
  rough, smooth, soft hard glossy etc. Texture can
  be physical (tactile) or visual.

Value and Shading

• Value is the lightness or darkness of a color.
• Shading varying degrees of lightness and darkness
  of the art.
