Technology Platform (FTP). The PPTSL-D
representative in the High Level Group of FTP is
Robert Motala, PhD, Director of STORA ENSO Wood
Supply Polska Sp. z o. o. in Warsaw. Professor
Piotr Paschalis, PhD, of the Warsaw Agricultral
University, Chairman of the Association of
Foresters and Wood Technologists is a member of
the FTP Scientific Council. is an open
organization, which means that new members can
join it on the basis of a proper Members
Declaration.

PPTSL-Ds OBJECTIVES

• join the European Forest-Based Sector Technology
  Platform FTP in realization of its main
  activities
• preparation of a vision for sustainable
  forest-wood sector development,
• building a strategy for the development of modern
  technologies of forest wood resources
  utilization,
• cooperation in the creation of policy and
  legislation stimulating innovations,
• stimulating development of rural areas by means
  of reasonable use of forest raw material base and
  the local woodworking industry,
• preparation of a strategic research agenda,
• initiation and conduct of scientific and
  technical research
• enhance the competitiveness of the Polish economy
  in the forest-wood sector as an element of the
  European economy
• build a bridge between science and industry in
  the forestry and wood area through initiation and
  conduct of scientific and technical, pre-market
  and market research and commercialization of
  scientific solutions
• promote innovation and scientific and
  technological development in the forest-wood
  sector.
