• Some sites pending IPv6 connectivity

Future Direction

• An ARIN allocation of a /32 block is being
  pursued for NOAA
• GRID computing over IPv6 plans, funded for FY05
• IPv6 aggregate POPs and transport over NOAAnet
• IPv6 firewalls
• Improved IPv6 Layer 3 switching performance
