Conclusions
  • Dynamical classification of snow incorporated
into GCM of Hydrometcentre of Russia,
  • based on ERA40 climate
  • It was running 3 AMIP experiments
  • 1 albedo of snow depend on snow class
  • 2 capacity of snow depend on snow class
  • 3 conductivity of snow depend on snow class
  • It was was shown
  • In Exp 1
  • Mean albedo of North Hemisphere is near etalon,
but snow classification not doing winter albedo
better. Detail analysis of albedo in different
areas give opportunity to separate areas with
    underestimated and upperestimated winter albedo.
  • Albedo depend on snow class induce greater
    temperature difference in Spring(untill 3-4C),
    than in Winter (1-2C).
  • Snow WE change until 25 75 sm.
  • In E?p 2
  • It was shown, that difference in snow
canductivity depend on snow class appeared areas
with difference temperature of air near surface
    about 6-7C.
  • Difference in Snow WE 10-35 sm.
