  • Look at other webpages
  • Brainstorm
  • Discuss with grade level team
  • Decide 1-2 to start

Revising Your Class (index) page
  1. Start MS Word
  2. Choose Open
  3. Locate and open index.htm in your public_html
    folder
  4. Make your changes
  5. Save
  6. NEVER CHANGE THE NAME

  • Start MS Word
  • Choose Open
  • Locate the template file in your public folder
  • Can use over and over again
  • Open and immediately SAVE AS with a new name
  • Keep names short no spaces, characters

  • Insert a table
  • Turn table borders off
  • Insert Clip Art
  • Save
  • Check the page on the web

Linking New Page to your Class (Index) Page
  1. Open your class page (index.htm)
  2. Type text for the link (trip.htm)
  3. Highlight this text
  4. Insert Menu / Hyperlink
  5. Link to / Document / Select
  6. Locate your new page in your public_html folder
    and link with OKAY
  7. SAVE - will overwrite your index file
