Pioneer Children

• Pioneer children wore clothing that was the same
  as their parents. The pioneer children dressed
  up fancy for special days or other things.
  Pioneer children didnt have clothes like ours.

Pioneer Children

• Boys grew their hair long and wore skirts until
  the age of six or seven. The parents of these
  boys came from Scotland. The boys wore Scottish
  kilts.

• Pioneer children were not allowed to play. When
  they are dressed up nice like their parents they
  had to act like little adults.

• The early settlers did not have fancy toys to
  play with. Their parents and grandparents made
  the childrens toys by hand.
