• -Intro to mini versions of games, basic.
• Junior School Sport Top Sport
• -More specialised equipment resources,
• -Links into full sports
• -Coach led, resource bag left with school.

THE TOPSPORT PROBLEMS

• -Primary schools do not always have the time or
  money to fully commit to it (numeracy/literacy!)
• -Equipment/resources can be a problem.
• -LEA has other concerns to worry about.
• -Only 1 SDO in BANES.
• -Training not always possible (teachers interest?)

Problems

• Community centres are full already.
• Beacon schools have reputation for poaching
  best performers.
• What provision is there for the new activities?
  Is something else sacrificed?
• Poor schools cannot raise the money.
