15Making suggestions and planning based on rec d.50
- Creating the exchange Point in South Eath Asia
Nations - Hub point
- exchange traffics announce IP blocks,
Autonomous System Numbers - Connecting to other Asia nations
- China, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, etc
- Connect to Europe (LINX, for instance), Africa
16Making suggestions and planning based on rec d.50
Our goal to be fair with US carriers
- Why needs to be found an Asia Pacific Internet
eXchange Point - Internet trafics increased nearly balanced
between regions - Asia Pacific Region has not yet found any
regional Internet exchange point - Most of the transit traffics between countries
are United State - Save money for nations by applying technique such
as caching, etc. - Representative to negotiate with other regions,
US carriers - Make full use of fible optics (SEA-ME-WE3, CSC,
etc)
17Making suggestions and planning based on rec d.50
Current model without Asia Pacific exchange point
and directly conneted between nations
