• Cygwin provided a quick turnaround for a Windows
  build
• Eclipse provided a versatile envirment for all
  development needs, providing plug-ins for both
  Perl and CLIPS
• X-Windows code did not port successfully and had
  to be removed.
• Uninitialed variables caused undesired results in
  Windows
