10When was the Cuban Missile Crisis?
  11The Cuban Missile Crisis
1962
Kennedy felt threatened when spy plane photos
proved that there were Russian nuclear missiles
in Cuba pointing at the USA. In a developing
standoff between the USA and the USSR the world
came the closest to nuclear war that it had ever
known. The fear generated by this eventually led
to a hotline and Test Ban Treaties.

 371625 CHARLES MARRIES HENRIETTA MARIA.
In 1625 Charles married a beautiful French
Princess. Henrietta Maria was a 15 year old
Catholic. She would do her best to make sure that
any children she had would be brought up as
Catholics, and would influence Charles to accept
Catholic ideas.

  39WHITEBOARDS I chose ___ because.
 401634 SHIP MONEY.
By 1634 Charles was absolutely desperate for
money. He wasnt prepared to listen to
Parliaments advice on the matter. There was an
old law that allowed the king to collect Ship
Money from towns on the coast. This tax was
used for building up the navy. (If there was an
invasion coastal towns would be attacked
first). The king decided that every town in
England would have to pay ship money and that the
money could be used however he wanted.

48 Cool. Lots of fun. I liked my picture!! LOL.
You should keep doing it!! Keep it how it is
I like it better working in pairs.
It helps mainly as a revision tool but could
work as an exam.
I think we should do it more often because it
is a fun way of learning.
I feel that the handsets are a fun way to learn
because it is easier than reading and writing,
but you learn just as much.
The fact you are competing against others makes
you put the right answer instead of being silly.
49Its good fun but stressful when it doesnt
work.
Its fun, quick, easy and much better than
writing, as well as it is a bit of a game. It is
more activity and shows what we do and do not
know in different topics in History
The good thing about it is that its a
competition and fun compared to writing. Its
good revision. The bad thing about it is that it
sometimes doesnt work.
Would be good to help with revision for tests.
Please never use it again!
Writing and reading is boring. Handsets arent.
I prefer this because it has a competitive
spirit and makes you want to win more.
50The best way to learn is through a game because
its fun and enjoyable. And it is better when
you enjoy yourself when learning because then you
will want to learn more. I like this method
The purple things with buttons. They are OK to
use sometimes but not often because they get
really boring. I like reading and writing
better, because I learn more that way. I like
learning things in more depth. I get fed up of
them after a short time using them.
I think we should do it more often because it is
a fun way of learning. There is only a few
problems but nothing major.
