6Mental Health (Care Treatment) (Scotland) Act
- Under the new Mental Health Act, a right of
appeal will be introduced no later then May 2006
for patients who consider themselves to be
subject to conditions of excessive security and
these appeals will be considered by the Mental
Health Tribunal

- Establish Oversight Group Network Advisory
Board - Commission Short Life Working Groups where
national guidance is required - Develop Regional Multi-agency structures with
links to NHS Regional Planning Groups
