Creek School get the daily paper but almost all
kids that age get flyers. Most kids in Grade 8
purchase magazines but there is a lot fewer kids
who get them in Grade 9.

How do People in the Elm Creek Gr. 9 class get
the news
As we can see over 50 of the people surveyed
didnt even care about the news and all the other
people didnt even care enough to look it up on
the internet or read the paper.

grade 7 and 9 do.

There are a lot more people that have internet
access at their house than those who dont. Of
the people who do have internet access at there
house, almost all of them go on it at least once
a day.

The majority of the grade 12s are on the
internet half an hour to one hour in their free
time, where as the grade 6s are on the internet
half an hour or fewer, or 1-2 hours a day. By the
time students are in grade 12, they are very
likely to have internet access.

100 minutes the lest amount use it for 100 to 140

The Older people get, the more likely they are to
have Facebook. Also, as people get older, they
get more friends on Facebook.

Elm Creek School.

Most of the grade 8s do the same things the
grade 9s do but less. I predict that by when any
grade 9 class is in grade 9 most of them will

Only 15 of Grade 8 and 9 students at Elm Creek
School have an Ipod with Internet Capability but
45 have Ipods but not Internet Capability.

83 of Grade 8 and 9 students at Elm Creek School
go on Facebook and only 17 go on YouTube. They
dont do anything else.

I notice that lots of staff have cell phones but
not a lot of staff text

The Grade 9 class compared to the staff on
texting is that the students use there Cells to
text more then the staff. The second graph shows
that the staff call more throughout the day then
the Grade 9's but the Grade 9's call for longer
time frames.

There are generally more staff than students that
own cell phones. Very equal in search engines.

A lot of students read, go on the internet and
listen to music for half an hour to two hours.
For texting there are a lot of students who text
for less than a half hour. A very minimal amount
of students go on these four things for more than
two hours.
