In Simple Terms Whats the Difference Between
Select and Enterprise?
  • The Select Agreement is a simple vehicle for
    buying individual licenses. You choose the
    products and also choose to include Software
    Assurance on those products.
  • The Enterprise is a way to manage and reduce the
    cost of your Microsoft Environment
  • Establish your core products
  • Additional Training and Technical Support for
    Your Environment
  • Licensed for the most current versions of those
    products.
  • Direct access to Microsoft for benefits that
    reduce your total cost of computing.
  • Also, your cost will decrease in years 4,5,6 if
    you choose to renew the EA agreement

Select Volume Licensing
  • Existing Features and Benefits
  • Purchases tracked via enrollment unique to each
    agency.
  • Purchasing Software Assurance is initially
    optional. Once a customer chooses to buy SA they
    are committed to buy each year of the contract
    and may pay on an annual basis.
  • Current agreement expires June to be replaced
    with new three year agreement. SA customers have
    option to continue on this new contract.
  • Monthly report of usage is required.
