To Blast It A-Weigh
  • Students and the families in Southern West
Virginia must change their unhealthy lifestyle.
Eating healthy, exercising, and maintaining a
    healthy weight are imperative.
  • The leaders of the state and community must work
together to provide better health facilities to
its citizens. By pooling and coordinating the
talents and resources of health care providers,
schools, institutions of higher learning, and
community leaders and organizations can maximize
their ability to serve the people of Southern
    West Virginia

Our Goals
  • The current health status of Southern West
Virginia is unacceptable and a barrier to
improving the lives of its citizens and the
    economy of the region.
  • To that end, we must assess the health of all
    K-12 students, coordinate prevention and
intervention programs, and educate the population
to the dangers of an unhealthy lifestyle.
